beautiful Petite Petals lidded box

Hello!

Very miserable day today so I would like to show you how to make it a bit brighter with this beautiful box with lid topped with petite flowers. I think its very feminine and delicate, perfect for a little gift...

let's get started!!

First you will need  2 pieces of cardstock:  5.5"x 5.5" for the base, and 4 9/16" x 4 9/16" for the lid
Using your scoring base and tool score the base card at 1.5" on all 4 sides.
Then score the lid paper at 1" on each side. See the picture below.

Fold it all over.
Now you need to do some cutting as in the pictures below:

Now  put the box together applying some strong adhesive to all the corners.
And here you have it - box with a lid.

Now the fun part - decorating the lid. I used flower stamp and punch. First I stamped my flower onto A4 paper. I used the whole sheet for my project. Then I used my punch to cut out all the flowers.

Next I glued some flowers to on top of the lid and sides to make  a base.

next I added some more flowers on top using both glue dots and dimensionals as I didn't want them to look flat. I also shaped the flowers a little bit.

You can see from my next picture there is no pattern of how and where I glue the flowers. just do whatever you think looks best for you.

TIP - don't use too many flowers on top of each other as they won't stick or won't stay there for too long.... Trust me. learn from my mistake.... :)

And here it is - cute little box with a lid full of sweet little flowers!
Easy, wasn't it?
