Hello on this hot sunny day.... I love sun but I couldn't stay out for too long so having done all my housework I sat down in my craft corner and made step by step tutorial of this cute little box with mini cards. I hope you like it....
You will need 9.5" x 7.5" cardstock (25.5cm x 21cm)
Using your scoring board, with the long side at the top score the card at: 3.5", 4.5", 8" & 9".
Then turn it round and score it at : 1", 2", 5.5" & 6.5".
Fold along the scored lines.
Then cut off the marked edges as in the picture below.
Once you've done that you will have this shape to play a bit more with:
Now, do a little bit more cutting as in the picture below, making 4 little flaps and removing the marked edges between them.
Now you will have something like this:
Turn the card over and use your embossing buddy to remove all the debris from the cardstock. It will prevent extra powder from sticking to your project.
Now the fun part. I used Beautiful Bunch stamp set and stamped a flower all over my cardstock. Then I used clear embossing powder all over my stamped images
Then I used my heat tool ( I am assuming here that everyone knows how to use it) :)
and this is the end result:
looks pretty already, doesn't it?
Lets put it all together. Apply some strong adhesive to the stripe in the end and attach it to the other end of the box. I used fast fuse adhesive.
and here is your box. .
Now you can round the corners and add any embellishments you want. I used a ribbon and some gems for the other box.
To make the mini cards you will need:
some paper measuring 3 3/8" x 6 6/8" folded in half,
background paper measuring 3" x 3"
cut out flowers.
here is how I made it. I used the same ink pad colour as my cardstock. Stamped the same flower image to a white paper and cut it out with my punch.
I used snail adhesive to glue the background paper to my card, and some dimensionals to attach the flower to the top of the card.
And here you have it. Beautiful fold flat box with beautiful bunch!
I hope you like my tutorial. Thank you very much for visiting my page today. :)
