Hi,
So I have been trying to make some baby cards recently with no success....and then I saw a sketch a BOOM - made a card within minutes! I'm impressed it took me so little time to make it. From now on I will be looking for more sketch inspirations for my cards....
here it is - my sweet little Bumblebee card.
This card is A5 size, because A6 seemed too small for me for this project, and I didn't want to squeeze everything in, that would make it look too messy.
I combined two bright colours - Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo.
The yellow backing paper was made using a stamp from 'You are a fabulous work of art stamp set. I just stamped the little circle all over the page to make it look a bit like a honeycomb... I doesn't look quite like I wanted it too, but it I like it!
To make the flower I used my Fun Flower punch on white card, and then sponged Melon Mambo all over the flower. The picture doesn't really show the shades...
The Bumblebee is a retired stamp which I looove! I stamped it onto a white card and coloured with markers. I also added a little bit of sparkle on my Bumblebee wings - glitter glue, but the card still looks clean and quite simple I think...
Finally a sentiment: I chose one from Sweet Li'l One stamp set.
I quite like how it all came up together..... It's a perfect card for a perfect sweet little baby....
I hope you like it too
As I mentioned earlier I was inspired by a sketch from www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.co.uk
I also entered my card into the challenge. :)
Thanks very much for visiting my blog today,
