World Card Making day - Summer garden gate card!!

Afternoon!!! I cannot believe it's October already, can you???
The summer's gone, heart braking, and winter is coming. I hate cold...
So I had to design something to bring back some warmth, colours and sunshine...
...and here it is - my summer garden gate card!

This card measures 6x6 inches. I used whisper white cardstock and my favourite stamp ever - Hardwood! I looove this stamp as you can probably say - I have been using it a lot in my projects recently.
To make the gate I stamped hardwood image onto white card and cut along the lines to make separate fence posts. I sponged the edges and glued it all together into a gate.
I love how it all turned out!!

I added some flowers and a string on the front gate...

...and some more flowers inside.
To make the background I used emboss resist technique - stamped some swirls in green and my greeting and heat embossed them with some clear embossing powder. Then I sponged some inks in circle motions all over the page.
I finished it off with a couple of butterflies....
I love the summer colours on this card...
I hope you enjoyed my today's colourful project.
