Christmas cards vintage style - using just brown and white card

Hello, thanks for stopping by..

I have been watching my fellow crafters creating beautiful holiday cards and crafts....and I really wanted to make something a bit different. Here is how I came up with vintage/rustic style. Since it has been my favourite style ever, I decided to show you a few makes....hope you like them. Who said holiday cards have to be in red and green only!!

Here is my first and favourite card in rustic style.
The snowflake elemnts hero my card and little stone gems and metallic thread compliment it.
I used ink distressing technique for all the edges to give it the vintage style I was after. I think it quite does the job.

Here is another card I made using just brown and white card:

This card is very quick and easy to make actually. I used die cut snowflakes, different shapes, complimented them with a little bit of sparkle in the middle. on top in the middle I placed my sentiment - with distressed edges. The sentiment was heat-embossed.
Another card, I thought very clever, as I used balloon die cutter and turned it into a Christmas bubble!

Again, mainly white and brown card used with a tiny hint of red!! I love it!
Instead of using embossing folders I used scoring tool and board to add some texture to my white card and the bubbles as well.
I also used linen thread and some golden metallic thread in my project to add a tiny bit of shine...
A little star and a snowflake element compliments the card
here is another card, a little bit of fun here....
I will have more projects in this style posted so please keep checking my Facebook page
