Winter Wonderland Seasonal Card

So I have been seeing all these seasonal cards and crafts all over the Facebook etc.... and decided to give it a go myself.

There was this one stamp set that I really liked, all cards made using this particular stamp seemed so stunning and original....I had to get one for myself and see what it's like.

Omg, seriously, If you are thinking of making some stunning Christmas cards by yourself this year - this is the set you should get - you wil looove it!! Check this out:

How did I make this card?
Its so quick and simple to make. No complicated techniques, trust me...
you will need:
8" x 8 1/4"  card folded in half - that's your card base. I used white.
7 7/8" x 3 7/8" black paper
3 5/8" x 7 5/8" silver sparkling paper
7 3/8" - 3 7/16" white paper to stamp your image on
black ink
tacky glue
embossing stamp pad
heat tool
white embossing powder
First I created my card base and frames with the black and silver layers.
Then I stamped my image onto the white card. I stamped it a few times before re-inking it again to create the depth - lighter colour trees in the background. You don't need different colour inks, just one, and stamp it once, move it a bit and stamp again, and again... it's that simple!!

Then the sentiment. I used embossing ink and white embossing powder, heated it up and got this shiny embossed sentiment. I chose heat embossing as I didn't want to cover my lovely stamped image with any extra layers of paper - even if it was just a little sentiment.
I glued my finished image to the card and finished it off with a snowflake element and silver thread.
and here it is

Hope you like my card and enjoyed my tutorial.
I would love to know what you think, so please, feel free to leave me a comment.
